Paloma Lopez de mesa Moyano

I am an Assistant Teaching Professor at Emory University, department of economics. I earned a B.A. and M.A. in Economics from Universidad de los Andes. I hold a Ph.D. and M.Phil. degree in Economics from The Graduate Center at CUNY. My research focus is at the intersection of development and health economics, with a special interest in the topics of gender, children and fertility. I am also interested in the economics of higher education. I am passionate about teaching economics. In particular, teaching students how analyze data to approach questions in economics using Python programing language.
